I HOPE THIS ENCOURAGES someone.. I’m excited to weigh in!!! WEEK 2 starts tomorrow. But IN 4 days I lost 3 pounds!! 😝 I started this journey with weight watchers on Monday... after being SICK of not feeling in control of my weight & seeing where it was headed... I had been trying different programs for more then a year that worked and helped me lose 25 pounds, but I gained it all back and an extra 5 pounds more because they were NOT LIFESTYLES. They were unsustainable diets...
I WANT TO BE THE FITTEST I’ve ever been by my 30th bday DEC 22nd 2019... I know with WW I can do this!! I’m shocked & beyond excited at how simple & how sustainable this is. I LOVE IT!!
🥰🌻It started with my mindset. Mindset is so important. I needed this setback to find WW & to really understand my mind is what was holding me back.
A few weeks ago I started saying EVERYTHING I EAT makes me healthy, fit & thin, EVERYTHING I drink makes me healthy & fit & thin... everything I I DO makes me healthy & fit. I have a healthy body. Every time I eat I tell
Myself this... when negative thoughts creep in I tell myself these affirmations. I also tell myself the things I love about my body in the mirror instead of the things I don’t. I smile 😊 at myself! When I eat I look at the vitamins and nutrition I’m Getting on the back of the food rather then the just the calories— I read them of to myself or I look up facts for fruits veggies whole grains etc.... And this mindset attracted me to weight watchers.
🏋🏽♀️ When I work out instead of saying I never see results, or I say I SEE RESULTS very quickly from my workouts, they make feel good and look toned and healthy.
I hope this helps someone just starting out like me on this amazing new lifestyle.
SW- 206.8 ( Heaviest I’ve ever been.. last year I got down to 173 from 197.6)
CW- 203.8 (last weigh in 2 days ago so may be less)
GW- 145
ULT GOAL WEIGHT- 135 & super toned
SO many other ways to track your health and fitness level & body shape etc other then just THE SCALE!! Numbers and measurements MATTER. 🏋🏽♀️MY GOAL IS TO reach the FIT women percentage- I’m close currently at 27.5% I have a little bit to get there but it’s happening daily.
Also knowing your body shape can help you with what kind of clothes to get to feel your best & that are most flattering!
If I relied only on the scale I would fit into the obese category for that and BMI - however not all bodies are equal! So never let one way of measuring tell you your fitness story.
FUN FACT - Arnold S was considered obese during his fittest time in life based on scale and BMI BUT - measurement wise and body fat percentage wise he was ABSOLUTELY PURE MUSCLE!
