2 MONTHS IN WITH WW FREESTYLE- weight watchers update
www.weightwatchers.com
IT HAS OFFICIALLY been 2 months since I started with WW Freestyle, 11 weeks to be exact!
SO WHERE AM I STILL SEEING RESULTS?!
YES! Not just in weightloss though! A lot of people at some point in their fitness lifestyle journey come to realize, this is more then just losing pounds or working out.
I have had to learn to be very patient with myself as I am changing habits! I’m learning how to consistently chose healthier choices even when on vacation or at BBQ’s with the family. I’m learning that my mindset can be stronger then any food I crave or any workout I do. WW (weight watchers) is teaching me how to be balanced in any setting, when I of course like we all do fall off track I can now see how I need to get right back on.
Last week girl was one of those off track weeks. I didn’t even weight myself. However I didn’t let that stop me from continuing & I will always get back on track, this is my lifestyle now not a momentary thing I’m doing for weightloss rather a lifetime way of life for health & happiness & feeling in control of my weight.
AM I LOSING WEIGHT STILL?
I have read that the healthiest rate to lose weight is 1 pound per week, so I set that as my goal when I first started!
I AM ACCOMPLISHING exactly that.
Averaging about 1.2 pounds per week.
Some weeks I lose more & some weeks I lose none, some weeks I’ve even seen a slight .6 or 1 pound gain.
During that time of the month when my polka dot is here LOL, I can see some weight gain as well, I do not even add that in my tracking at all. I take mental note and continue on with my healthy day.
HOW DOES IT WORK EXACTLY?
When you first sign up with WW you will answer a few questions such as your age, weight, goals for joining etc.
Based on your answers you will be assigned to a certain amount of points to aim for per day!
I was assigned to 23 points per day.
Some people start off way higher and then slowly work their way down, so it is not one size fits all like so many programs have.
My husband is very fit & healthy, however we joined my to support me & to lose 25 pounds & get more toned!
My Husband was assigned to 36 per day since he is a man etc. So that is his aim.
Some people have been assigned to way more then per day.
YOU ALSO get a certain amount of weeklies to eat. You can have splurge days if you need or use a little each day esp on days you worked out etc.
I get 42 weeklies on top of my dailies. When I work out I get Fit Points which also add to how much I can eat.
I do not typically use all of my weeklies if I do I may not see much of a change on the scale. However if I use a lot of them I am fine just not all of them. There have been weeks I use them all & still lost because I stayed right at 23 points (my daily point amount) & or under that plus worked out. So you can definitely see results regardless of a cheat week!
Every single food has a point value based on calories, nutritional value, salt, sugar, fat content etc. IT IS SO EASY TO track the value! All you have to do is download their amazing WW connect app & use the Barcode scanner on every food, minus Fruits, Veggies, Fresh Lean Meats, Eggs, Fat Free Yogurt etc WHICH HAVE ZERO POINTS!
IS FOOD BORING ON WW?
The food on WW Freestyle is absolutely amazing. I feel I have way more options now then I ever have. I can even eat things I use to restrict myself on all the time. They have countless & I mean countless recipes! Amazing Cookbooks! You can even make your own recipes & track the points easily because you can save the recipe and each time you make it just track it for that meal. So SIMPLE.
I know some people think Weight Watcher sis a diet but it’s not. I’ve been on them and I hate them because they are highly restrictive & do not last long term at all.
There is no restrictions on WW rather just it teaches you how to be balanced and take control.
COUNTLESS BEFORE & AFTERS PLUS SUPPORT ON THE WW CONNECT APP WILL KEEP YOU MOTIVATED DAILY!
I am so excited to be getting closer & closer to my goal! I am committed to reaching my GOAL WEIGHT OF 145 by August of 2020! I am being patient with myself, setting new habits daily, learning how to balance & also working out so I stay during my weightloss journey.
WEIGH IN UPDATE
My last weight in 2 weeks ago was 197-started at my highest weight 207 ,which I hit in June 2019 after losing 25 pounds last year & got down to 173 from fasting & barely eating most days feeling lost & out of control of my weight completely. Once I hit that I knew I had to do something drastic to take control!
I AM SO HAPPY I DECIDED TO START AND SAY YES
